About Me

Hi! My name is Zak and I’m studying Natural Sciences in Trinity College at Cambridge. I’m passionate about helping students achieve their potential by supporting them academically. This has taken shape through outreach work with Cambridge’s Physics department alongside personal work mentoring with The Oxbridge Launchpad over the past 2 years. Working with students aspiring for Oxbridge is something I find fun and thoroughly rewarding.


Having come from a state school education myself, I know how daunting Oxbridge can seem and how difficult it can be to know where to start. I endeavour, with this coaching, to help you understand the application process and how to excel in completing it.


The approach I take to mentoring is all about building confidence in the student’s own abilities and then fluency in their skills that are needed for a successful Oxbridge application. I will of course personalise the experience to each student to ensure they get the most out of our sessions as possible, and most importantly enjoy the process.

I’ll help you prepare for the Oxbridge interview by teaching you how to think aloud clearly, respond with confidence, and stay calm under pressure. We’ll practise real questions and refine your approach until you’re ready for anything.
