About Me

Hello! I'm Rebecca, a Cambridge graduate with a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Natural Sciences, having specialised in pathology during my third year. I will be remaining at Cambridge for a Master's in medical research, where my project focuses on bacterial biofilms. I have been volunteering with the Oxbridge Launchpad for over a year now and am proud to report a 100% application success rate (albeit not a large sample size)! 


I applied to Cambridge from the United States, with very little help or understanding of what admission teams look for. The process was daunting, especially interviewing without having had a mock. I now know that obtaining an offer is totally achievable, no matter your background, so it's always worth a try!

Before university, I studied English Literature to an advanced level, making me well-equipped to provide suggestions on personal statements. I can also conduct mock interviews and more informal, interview-style practice sessions, guided by the content from my first year that interviewers frequently use. 

After the challenges of my own application, I am passionate about helping students demonstrate their best selves in all aspects of the Oxbridge application process. I primarily work with those applying for Biology (Oxford) or Biological Natural Sciences (Cambridge), and I adapt my teaching based on the needs and interests of each student. If you're looking for something more general, I'm always happy to chat about broad application strategies, college choices, or even just my experience at Cambridge.
