About Me

My name is Sunita, and I am a fourth-year Veterinary student at the University of Cambridge, with an additional degree in Natural Sciences. I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at A-level while working part-time as a tutor for Explore Learning, where I primarily taught Maths and English. This is where I discovered how much I enjoy tutoring others and helping them work through any problems they have!


Since then, I have worked freelance as a tutor for GCSE and A-level students—something I’ve really loved and would like to continue further. I take a flexible and adaptable approach to lessons, with the pace set by the student to ensure they have adequate time to understand everything, but also the opportunity to move onto more advanced content if they’re ready.


My lessons often take the form of a question-and-answer style session to identify any gaps in understanding, which we then discuss collaboratively using tools such as mind maps and diagrams. Lessons generally last an hour, but I am happy to tailor this to suit the needs of the student.


I have experience working with younger children aged 7–11 at Explore Learning, and I have also tutored students in triple science at GCSE level, as well as Physics at A-level. I am therefore happy to support students from a wide range of levels and abilities.
